Rebecca Penneys Piano Festival Returns to School of Music for Fifth Season

The College of The Arts is honored to welcome back the Rebecca Penney's Piano Festival to the School of Music for its fifth season of music instruction, recitals, holistic learning, and more.
The festival attracts renowned music educators, speakers, and student pianists from around the world. Festival students have numerous opportunities to perform at venues around the Tampa Bay area in the Ambassador Performing Series of the festival.
Rebecca Penneys is a recitalist, chamber musician, orchestral soloist, educator, and adjudicator who has played in the United States, East Asia, Australia, New Zealand, South America, Europe, the Middle East, and Canada. Penneys is Professor Emerita of Piano at the Eastman School of Music, Artist-in-Residence at St. Petersburg College, President of the non-profit Rebecca Penneys Friends of Piano Incorporated, and Founder and Artistic Director of Rebecca Penneys Piano Festival. She established the Rebecca Penneys Piano Festival in 2013 to give individualized attention to young pianists through a tuition-free festival.
