Director of Development Dr. Bill Faucett Receives FSU's Warren D. Allen Faculty Citation in Scholarly Research in Music

Dr. Bill Faucett, Director of Development for the USF College of The Arts, is a recipient of Florida State University's prestigious Warren D. Allen Faculty Citation in Scholarly Research in Music.
The Warren D. Allen citation, named after the celebrated organist, music critic, and FSU professor of music history and literature, is awarded to outstanding students and graduates of FSU College of Music programs.
Faucett holds a bachelor's degree in music from Florida State University, a master's degree in music history and literature from Southern Methodist University, and a Ph.D in historical musicology from Florida State University. His research interests include the life and music of American composer George Whitefield Chadwick, the music culture of 19th and 20th century Boston, aesthetics, history of musical criticism, orchestral literature, and the history of musical philanthropy.
