USF Music Alumnus Jos茅 Valentino-Ruiz Recognized for Work on Latin GRAMMY Winning Album

Jos茅 Valentino Ruiz, an alumnus of the USF School of Music, was recently recognized by the Latin Recording Academy for his work work as a flutist and audio engineer on the album 鈥淭odo Pasa鈥� by Miami music producer Juan Delgado.
鈥淭odo Pasa鈥� received the Latin GRAMMY for the Best Christian Album in the Spanish language category.
Valentino currently serves as an assistant professor of music business, entrepreneurship, and music technology at the University of Florida. He holds two degrees from the USF School of Music鈥攁 bachelor鈥檚 degree in music studies (鈥�09), and a PhD in music education (鈥�16). Valentino also received a Master of Music degree from the University of Miami ('12) and a Doctor of Ministry from the Truth and Mercy Institute for Advanced Ministry Studies ('15).
