Dr. Laura Rodr铆guez L贸pez is an Assistant Professor of Instruction in the Department of Child & Family Studies within the College of Behavioral & Community Sciences at the 最新天美传媒. She also serves as the Training Director for the , the university鈥檚 Center for Excellence in Developmental Disabilities, and as the Program Director for the Graduate Certificate in Positive Behavior Support. In her role at FCIC, Dr. Rodr铆guez leads the and oversees the FCIC Family & Community Liaison project as Principal Investigator.

Dr. Rodr铆guez holds a B.A. in Psychology & Political Sciences from the University of Puerto Rico, an M.A. in Educational Leadership & Administration from Argosy University, and an Ed.D. in Program Development & Educational Innovation from the University of South Florida. She has over fifteen years of experience in teaching, advising, training, and program administration. Her inquiry interests focus on education, program evaluation, improvement science, and workforce development, with a particular emphasis on disability studies.

Beyond her academic work, Dr. Rodr铆guez is actively involved in professional service, including serving as Secretary for the National Training Director鈥檚 Council and as a Steering Committee Member for the Spanish Caucus of the Association of University Centers on Disability (AUCD), along with participation in various other professional organizations and advisory committees.
