Dr. Licato said, 鈥淲argaming, on the surface, looks like a bunch of people playing board games like Risk, Diplomacy, or even collectible card games, and calling it work. But it can be so much more: it can be a powerful tool to understand and train strategic thinking, prepare for tactics that might be used by adversaries, and even serve as a testbed for refining AI approaches. Working on this project has been a ton of fun, and it has opened up so many fruitful research directions.鈥�
