Report Other Financial Assistance
Federal regulations prohibit you from receiving more financial aid than your cost of attendance. Aid received from other financial assistance will affect your aid eligibility. Additional aid sources may include:
- Tuition Waivers
- Fellowships
- Scholarships
- Stipends
If you are expecting funds from these or other sources, let us know immediately using the Additional Resources tab in :
- Click the ‘Resources’ tab
- In the ‘Add Resources’ section,
- Enter the description, term and award amount information and click submit.
- Do not report Florida Bright Futures, Florida Pre-Paid, Federal Pell Grant, or student loans.
Doing this will help you avoid an unpleasant surprise if we have to recover funds already disbursed to you. Your awards will be revised to reflect any changes.
Need to make changes to other financial assistance reported? You can submit the Resource Cancellation Form for the correct aid year to make updates.
Federal regulations restrict what financial aid information we can discuss with non-USF organizations by phone and email. If you have a non-USF scholarship that requires financial aid data to determine your eligibility, then you need to provide your written consent to our office to disclose this information. You can submit the Office of Financial Aid Privacy Release -Outside Scholarships form for the appropriate academic year to our office for review and processing.
Doing this will help you avoid an unpleasant surprise if we have to recover funds already disbursed to you. Your awards will be revised to reflect any changes.
