Parking & Traffic Alert for 8/22
8/21/2024On Thursday, August 22, parking lots near the Marshall Center will be reserved for the day to facilitate parking for resident student check-in.
High vehicle and pedestrian traffic volumes are expected on USF Holly Drive, USF Laurel Drive, and USF Palm Drive, as well as in the areas surrounding the Marshall Center, the Village, Juniper-Poplar Hall, and the Magnolia Apartments.
Traffic on Holly Drive will run one way eastbound between USF Myrtle Drive and USF Genshaft Drive for resident unloading. Bull Runner stops on Holly Drive will be out of service.
Impact on Bull Runner Service: All routes will resume regular service after 5:00 pm.

Parking lots in the vicinity of the Marshall Center will be impacted as follows:

Please plan to utilize alternate parking locations within the vicinity of the Marshall Center. These include but are not limited to the Crescent Hill Garage, Laurel Garage, Lots 3E, 9A, 9C, and 42.

USF鈥檚 parking garages, especially Beard and Laurel Garage, typically have parking available and offer regular, convenient Bull Runner service to stops across campus. Lot 18, located off Sycamore Drive, also has parking available and serves as a good option for those who typically park in the Yuengling Center lots. Additionally, after 5:30 pm and on weekends, cars with valid USF parking permits (except Y) may park out of their designated areas, excluding Resident and Reserved parking spaces.

2024-2025 Virtual Parking Permits are available now!
8/1/2024Parking permit sales for the 2024-2025 academic year are now available. Visit parking.usf.edu to sign into your account and purchase your virtual parking permit.
Reminder:
- Virtual Parking Permits: Your vehicle鈥檚 license plate will serve as your virtual parking permit. Physical
permits are not provided. Learn more at www.usf.edu/virtualparkingpermits
- Park Plate Out: With your license plate as your permit, you will need to park 鈥減late out.鈥 This means your license plate must be facing the drive lane so it can be read by our License Plate Recognition (LPR) technology.

Effective today, Monday, May 20, until Friday, August 2, 2024, Vehicles with a valid E or GZ permit will be allowed to park in the following R-designated surface lots:
5A, 16, 17A, 17B, 24, 25, 50, 51, 52, 53 and 47A.
