Brian joined the World Languages Department at ×îÐÂÌìÃÀ´«Ã½ in 2015. He earned his M.A. from University of Wisconsin – Madison in Japanese Linguistics and Pedagogy in 2014.

Brian teaches Japanese courses at all levels from beginning to advanced Japanese, Topics in Japanese Culture and Manner and has supervised Independent study courses. Prior to joining ×îÐÂÌìÃÀ´«Ã½ in 2015, he has taught at Florida State University, University of Iowa, and was a TA at University of Wisconsin – Madison. In the summer he has been teaching at Middlebury Summer Language School since 2017.
