About LGSO:  Join us to explore the current state of social activism in Latinx and Hispanic communities. We'll discuss advocacy in professional and academic settings, highlight successful initiatives, and address challenges. Speakers will share insights on supporting Latinx students and outline strategies for future progress, empowering the next generation of leaders. This event is a great opportunity to learn more about the Institute for the Study of Latin America and the Caribbean (ISLAC), the League of United Latin American Citizens (LULAC), and Soul de Cuba Cafe. If you come early, you may try out featured appetizers from Soul de Cuba Cafe!
