The USF Presidential Search Committee was appointed by USF Board of Trustees Chair Will Weatherford on Feb. 20, 2025.

The search committee鈥檚 membership and process follow and . The process will include stakeholder input; the development of a position profile; marketing of the position; and identifying and screening the most qualified candidates. The committee will then recommend an unranked list of finalists to the Board of Trustees for consideration.

The search process will ensure alignment to the university鈥檚 mission and vision that have guided USF's sustained trajectory of success. The next president will expand upon the university鈥檚 momentum, providing leadership toward achieving the institution鈥檚 goals and aspirations.
