Accounts Receivable
The Accounts Receivable Department under the University Controller's Office is responsible for all outstanding debts owed to the ×îÐÂÌìÃÀ´«Ã½ by students, staff and outside customers for services rendered and/or fines assessed due to failure to comply with the University policies. Since Florida Statutes do not permit the University to extend credit, all charges are due immediately unless otherwise stated in the class schedule or by contractual agreement. Outstanding charges can be found in Student Self-Service, and/or by calling Parking Services. Non-student/Commercial accounts should contact the department where charges originated. The University is directed to exert every effort to collect all delinquent accounts. Delinquent accounts shall have a permanent hold on all University records preventing registration, transcripts, diplomas and grades. An employee may have outstanding charges deducted from their paycheck. Collection efforts may include the employment of the services of a collection agency. All cost, expenses, reasonable attorney's fees and/or collection fees in the collection of an outstanding charge may be passed on to the debtor.
