Admissions

The USF Department of Chemical, Biological and Materials Engineering welcomes outstanding applicants from around the nation and the world to our Ph.D. and M.S. programs. Applications to graduate programs may be submitted online through the USF Graduate Office of Admissions. For priority consideration, please submit your application for entrance in the Fall semester by December 15th of the prior year. Follow the link immediately below to apply. *Fee waivers exist only under certain circumstances for applicants in programs such as McNair Scholars, FGLSAMP, etc. Please complete the form linked and submit with appropriate documentation to obtain departmental signature.

Admission requirements for ph.D. program

Admissions requirements for the Ph.D. program, as , are as follows. Applicants must meet University Admission and English Proficiency requirements as well as requirements for admission to the degree program:

  • An undergraduate Bachelor鈥檚 degree in Chemical Engineering or a closely related science or engineering field.
  • Three (3) letters of reference.
  • Statement of Research Interests.
