Hosted Scholarship Programs
The Honors College hosts multiple scholarship programs for both Honors and non-Honors students. These hosted scholarships vary in eligibility requirements and benefits. Learn more below.
Jenkins Scholarship
The George W. Jenkins Scholarship is awarded to high achievers who have shown they can overcome adversity and demonstrate a high financial need. Recipients of this award receive up to the full cost of attendance including tuition, housing, and various expenses. In addition, Jenkins Scholars receive academic support such as one-on-one tutoring, the opportunity to study abroad, and meet with a graduate student mentor regularly.
Holcombe Scholarship
The USF-exclusive First-Generation Brad and Terry Holcombe Scholarship is awarded to a selection of first-generation students who show academic merit, a strong background in community service, and a high level of financial need. Recipients will receive a generous financial award to assist with the cost of tuition, housing, and various expenses. Holcombe Scholars also receive one-on-one tutoring and meet with a graduate student mentor regularly.
Ableidinger Scholarship
The Robert and Susan Ableidinger Scholarship is a university-wide need-based scholarship housed in the Honors College that provides recipients with $2,000 per student. In addition to the financial award, recipients also receive access to Honors College benefits, including priority registration.
Wilcox Scholars Program
The Wilcox Scholars Program aims to create a diverse group of highly motivated first-year students passionate about community engagement and civic leadership. The program is committed to providing an environment where Scholars refine their skills to become dynamic leaders. With access to mentorship and unique opportunities, Wilcox Scholars will be equipped to inspire positive change on campus, in their cities, and across the globe.
