Residential Education seeks Resident Assistants (RAs) and Community Managers (CMs) with strong critical thinking, helping, and reflection skills who effectively promote personal growth via intentional conversations and educational initiatives. Furthermore, Residential Education seeks individuals committed to building thriving communities rooted in student success, student learning, and inclusion.
Below is the selection timeline for new RAs and CMs applying to serve in these employment positions for the 2024-2025 academic year.

Mandatory Asynchronous Informational Session
New 2024-25 RA/CM candidates will need to complete a mandatory, asynchronous informational session and the associated quizzes in the This informational session is divided into several different modules about the positions. Each module concludes with a knowledge check, also known as a quiz. To remain eligible for a position, candidates must complete all modules and earn a 100% on all knowledge checks. We strongly recommend completing this informational session prior to submitting your application as it will provide useful insights to inform your application!

Workshop Week for RA and CM Finalists A Workshop Week session is Residential Education鈥檚 version of an interview. It is the final step of the selection process that requires candidates to complete one or more activities as discussed in the informational session. Participants who arrive late to their workshop session will be disqualified from the selection process. Failure to attend one of these Workshop Week sessions in their entirety will disqualify finalists from the selection process. |
