Remembering USF鈥檚 fourth president, Francis Borkowski
Borkowski served as president from 1988 to 1993. During his tenure, USF鈥檚 enrollment increased from 30,000 to more than 34,000, research grants increased from $37 million to $60 million and the USF Foundation鈥檚 endowment grew from $21 million to $61 million.

USF memorializes former President Jimmy Carter with 3D virtual tour of boyhood farm
Prior to his death, USF鈥檚 Center for Digital Heritage and Geospatial Information partnered with President Jimmy Carter and the National Park Service to create virtual tours of his boyhood farm, high school he attended and railroad depot that served as campaign headquarters for Carter鈥檚 successful 1976 presidential bid.
