MLK Commemorative Week
Each January, the Tampa campus Office of Multicultural Affairs brings together campus and community partners to commemorate and reflect on the legacy of one of the greatest Civil Rights leaders of the twentieth century, Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. We honor his dream and vision through a variety of events that embody his commitment to social justice, service and civility.

Martin Luther King, Jr. Parade
Monday, January 20 | 8:30 AM - 1:30 PM | St. Petersburg
Join OMA on the St. Petersburg campus and our student organizations to both walk over to the parade and walk in solidarity of MLK and his lifetime of accomplishments.
Martin Luther King Jr. Commemorative Brunch

Join the Office of Multicultural Affairs for the annual Martin Luther King Jr. Commemorative
Brunch. This year鈥檚 event honors Dr. King鈥檚 legacy, featuring a keynote speech from
Tiffany Moore Russell, regional director of the South Atlantic Region of Alpha Kappa
Alpha Sorority and the Orange County (Florida) Clerk. The brunch will also feature
Omari Dillard, a nationally known soul violinist trained in classical music with a
contemporary style.
