Graduation & Commencement
Graduation Application Information
Applying for graduation through your OASIS account is required and allows your college to begin the process of reviewing your record to ensure you are on track for graduation. Once final grades are posted, your college will then begin certifying degrees and mailing diplomas for students who have successfully completed all degree requirements.
- Click on Steps for Graduation to review graduation application instructions and information to prepare for the
Commencement ceremony, if you choose to attend.
- Important: If you have submitted a graduation application for a previous semester but did not graduate, you will need to submit a new graduation application.
- Check in with your Major Academic Advisor for a graduation audit to ensure all of your program requirements have been met successfully,
if you have not already done so.
- If you need to update your diploma address, please complete the Diploma Address Change Request and send to graduation@usf.edu. The diploma address cannot be updated at Commencement.
Commencement Information
Spring 2025 Commencement is tentatively scheduled for Thursday, May 8 through Sunday, May 11 at the Yuengling Center on the Tampa campus.
Commencement Schedule
Registration and schedule available week of February 24. Deadline to register for Commencement* Monday, April 21 at 12:00 a.m.*Reminder: registering for Commencement and applying for your degree in Student-Self Service are two separate processes. The deadline to apply for your degree is Friday, February 21.

Guest Registration and Tickets
There are no tickets required for guests to attend Commencement and no limit on how many guests each graduate may bring. Ceremonies are livestreamed via the USF YouTube channel for those guests who are unable to attend.
